A platform dedicated to celebrating contemporary artists of the Rio Grande Valley border region while honoring the legacy of artists Normah Alcott Knight and Ruth Young McGonigle, who began shaping the Valley’s fine arts landscape in the 1930s. Through thoughtfully designed salon-style gatherings, SHEKAY brings together artists, collectors, and patrons in an atmosphere of elegance, conversation, and artistic appreciation.

The SHEKAY Fine Arts Salon & Silent Auction

The Fall 2026 Salon. A gathering featuring a curated selection of work by highly regarded artists, presented in an elegant salon setting. The evening brings together collectors and creatives for an experience centered on appreciating and acquiring beautiful artwork.

A portion of the Proceeds will benefit the Brownsville Historical Association.
